In 2007, she deployed to Balad Air Base, Iraq to work at theater hospital Anaconda. Misty has worked in large hospitals in the emergency department, urgent care, occupational and orthopedic medicine, pain management, family practice, pediatric and women’s health.  By far her favorite area and most rewarding has been family medicine and is very pleased to be part of an amazing family practice with Dr. Salim.

Misty enjoys family time, flying right seat with husband, music, quilting, sewing, cooking and hydroponics gardening with her husband and four children.

I have been a patient of Dr. Salim for at least 2 decades as well as my husband and our sons. Dr. Salim is thorough, skilled, kind, and wonderful with all ages. I have recommended him to so many people that I cannot keep count. My youngest was born in 2005 and Dr. Salim performed his first in office newborn assessment. He was so wonderful with my baby that I have been with him ever since.
